Young Men-N-Motion, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth development mentorship organization founded by Ms. Minnie Davis in 1999 and launched in 2006. Due to its success, the program was established as an official 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, Young Men-N-Motion, Inc. STREAMS Year-Round Youth Development Mentoring Organization in 2011, and is operating out of the Mathis Community Center in Detroit, MI. Its focus is targeted at young men ages 11-26 years old.

STREAMS stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Math & Service—but it offers so much more.
Through year-round mentoring and hands-on training, young men ages 11–26 gain real-life skills, job certifications, and exposure to opportunities they never imagined.
Young Men -N- Motion is more than a program — it’s a movement. We exist to uplift young men facing real-life challenges like trauma, violence, loss, and a lack of positive male guidance. Through mentorship, structure, and love, we provide the tools they need to heal, grow, and lead.
Your donation supports mentorship programs, transportation, meals, mental health resources, educational support, and life skills development. Every dollar makes an impact. Every gift moves a young man one step closer to the life he was born to lead.

The group provides resources for community members, from babies to seniors. Families travel from across Metro Detroit to pick up the free diaper supplies.

The group said it’s seeing seniors debating whether to buy food or medicine, families with newborns struggling to make ends meet, and other vulnerable residents who could use a boost.
